Giant American colour brand Urban Decay recently asked us to join forces and aid them with a string of events revolving around in store customisations of their eye shadow palettes.
With recently setting up its first store in Covent Garden, alongside brands such as Chanel, Dior, Bobbi Brown and Burberry, Urban Decay has begun to pave its way in becoming a staple in any girls make up bag. And, for many ladies out there, Urban Decay is the undisputed Queen of eye shadow palettes. Therefore it was no surprise (to us girls at least!) that it was their famous Naked 2 and Naked 3 palettes that they wanted us to customise.
The first event that Urban Decay invited us to was in store at their gorgeous Covent Garden Boutique, which revolved around a Meet and Greet activity with beauty, fashion and lifestyle blogger: Fleur De Force. During the event attendees had the exclusive chance of purchasing one-off customised eye shadow palettes, which also got signed by the guest of honour herself. All the palettes where prepped in advance with spray paint, before our graffiti artist painted on the design of the customer’s choice live. Overall the event and graffitied palettes where a huge success, so Urban Decay decided to invite Graffiti Life back for more.
In the weeks following we have been requested down at Urban Decay’s counter in Debenhams, Oxford Street for more customisations of the Naked 2 and Naked 3 eye shadow palettes. However this time we have been writing messages and names on the inside mirrors, producing personalised gifts for this year’s Ramadan.
