Last week, The Graffiti Life Gallery saw the opening of our very first ‘SAIL’ event – our new bi-monthly exhibition featuring the release of brand-new works produced exclusively for The Graffiti Life Gallery, alongside a selection of hidden gems from the gallery’s private collection!
To celebrate, we launched our Limited Edition Print range at our private viewing last Thursday. These beautiful Risograph Prints were created by 6 of our best graffiti artists and are on sale for only £30! Our most popular print so far is ‘Coulsden’ by Tors and is a reproduction of the original intricately-drawn artwork which was created using pen on paper and took the artist two months to complete!
The paintings selected from the permanent collection for this month’s show include some of the iconography and pop-culture references that have been synonymous with Graffiti Life artists’ work in the past. Check out Adam Braziers hand-drawn portrait of Walter White, Benjamin Badbones spray-painted ‘Terminator’ alongside his series of other nostalgic characters painted onto cardboard using posca pens and spray-paint.
SAIL also includes a glimpse at the galleries exclusive ‘Last Chance to Buy’ section; showcasing popular art from previous shows for the very last time. The ‘Last Chance to Buy’ section offers a final chance to get your hands on pieces from graffiti artists such as Street Creep, Darren John, Ventza and many others!
