Ray Ban – Team Building Workshop

This week Graffiti Life spent the day with the guys from Ray Ban during their Team Building day out!

Our graffiti artists started the day by taking the group from Ray Ban on a Street Art tour… We knew they particularly wanted to see a piece of artwork by Banksy, so our graffiti artists made sure to take the group past the flower mural painted from double yellow road lines, located in Bethnal Green.

Our graffiti tour ended at The Shoreditch Art Wall, where our graffiti artists were ready to take the group through their Team Building Workshop. Our artists began by teaching the group the tricks and techniques of spray-painting, beginning with how to draw a line and a circle right though to how to create a fade and a drop-shadow. The group were eager to get hands-on, perfecting their spray-painting technique before splitting into teams for the second half of the workshop, the spray-painting battle!

The guys from Ray Ban wanted to create a mural which took inspiration from Ray Bans new ‘Rare Print’ and also incorporated the Ray Ban logo. Our artists sketched the basic outlines of the Ray Ban logo before the two teams spent the final half of their workshop creating their own masterpieces. At the end of the battle, the teams were judged on their final piece of artwork and their ability to employ specialist spray-painting techniques.

It was great working with the guys from Ray Ban, their finished artwork looked amazing!
