We are quite frequently contacted with graffiti emergencies; last minute jobs where our clients suddenly realise that a graffiti artist is the only way to achieve the desired outcome of their project. One such instance was this series of wall murals for Global Knowledge.
The global IT consultancy firm, based in London, were nearing the end of their new fit-out and upgrade of their premesis. They realised that the project needed a finishing touch, everything was looking good but there was something missing. That’s where we came in. We turned this project around in a very short period of time, working up London themed designs to fit certain areas of the office. Once the designs were signed off and the areas for painting were identified we got busy painting.
Two of our graffiti artists completed the work, using a sketchy, painterly style. GK wanted the designs to be black and white but we explained that working onto white surfaces, this would leave the designs looking quite flat. The remedy to this was to add a soft grey to the palette, and whilst most people won’t really notice how this colour effects the design, it will give it the added depth we needed. The London icons such as St. Pauls Cathedral, Tower Bridge and the London Eye have given this office refit a focal point to each area and have transformed the once boring, blank walls. The staff at Global Knowledge were really pleased with the results and we are proud of how it turned out. Our artists have painted a lot of London skyline pieces over the years but this one is a favourite. We even threw a few coffee beans into the break area 😀
Our interior murals are the perfect way to breath new life into a space. Hand painted designs beat out prints, pictures and vinyl installations every time, and there is nothing that our graffiti artists cannot paint. If you have a blank wall and a good idea then contact us today. A project manager will guide you through our working process.
