Harley Davidson asked us to create a piece of Live Art at their stand for The Goodwood Festival of Speed last weekend. Our brief was to paint a mural depicting a mechanic customising ‘The people’s Bike’ on a 2m by 4m free-standing wall using spray-paint.

‘The People’s Bike’ is a voting competition, giving people the chance to vote on individual bike parts they would like to see on the standard Harley-Davidson Iron. There are 7 competitions running one after another, kicking off at Goodwood Festival of Speed and finishing in October. The bike, once customised, will then be given away to someone who voted for the parts.

Our artists worked tirelessly to create an impressive mural that depicted a Harley Davidson bike being customised in a workshop. Our artists couldn’t stand seeing the back wall of the free-standing structure left blank, so with the permission of the guys at Harley they got busy creating mural no.2! This mural also represented the heart of the competition; this time with a graffiti twist!

Alongside the artists working on the mural, our artists also customised a select 100 t-shirts for some of the lucky Harley Davidson fans at the festival. The t-shirt give-aways were hugely popular and created a great atmosphere.
We had an amazing time working with Harley Davidson at The Goodwood Festival of Speed this year! If you’re after some Live Art entertainment for your event then get in touch!
