It’s been a busy year here at Graffiti Life, we’ve worked with a great bunch of people across an exciting range of projects. From painting on deer (fake ones!) to creating a mural solely in snow-spray… we’ve certainly done it all!
To mark the end of an amazing year, we thought we’d spread the Christmas cheer. As painting murals is what we do best, we decided to put our skills to the test… by painting backwards! Graffiti Life Artists spent a full day painting a uniquely modern Christmas message, incorporating festive emoji’s and cheeky icons. The artwork was more difficult to paint than usual, as we had to put lots of thought into the logistics of painting the artwork backwards. We painted the mural on a wall located in the heart of Shoreditch, and as you can imagine, there we’re a lot of passers-by who were all out to get their Christmas shopping done. Lots of people stopped to watch our graffiti artists paint and we were chuffed when members of the public approached us to say how much they loved the mural. Some local residents who had been watching the creation of the artwork over the course of the day even brought cups of coffee to help us warm up!
After hours spent painting outside in the cold, our work was finally finished. We filmed the creation of the mural and made a short video for all our friends and fans to check out. We hope you like it!
Merry Christmas from Graffiti Life X
