Donuts, Graffiti and a Zebra in Shoreditch…
Today saw the opening of the brand new Dum Dum Doughnuts store at Boxpark in trendy Shoreditch. Not only were there a multitude of baked goodies up for grabs but also the grand unveiling of the graffiti mural we painted for their exciting new brand. Eager crowds gathered outside their store earlier this morning; with over 500 doughnuts flying out the door in the first hour!
We met ‘Mr Baked Doughnuts’ Paul Hurley at the beginning of the year and decided to collaborate on the wall mural for his first permanent store. We’re thrilled to be working alongside Paul on his innovative and deliciously branded donut store… and our graffiti artists are delighted with the possibility of the release of our very own Graffiti Life signature doughnut!
Our graffiti artists decided to base the wall mural on something random, but with a link back to the brand. We settled on a zebra – as one of Dum Dum’s biggest sellers is their zebra cronut (half croissant, half donut). We painted the piece in the signature pink of the brand and kept the background subtle with light grey zebra stripes.
You can find out more about DumDums here, make sure to check out their doughnut gallery too; it’ll have you drooling!
If you have an empty wall that needs a little excitement then get in touch, our artists and project managers will work closely with you on everything from design through to execution.
