Recently Graffiti Life had the pleasure of attending Disney’s Press Day for their new animated film, Big Hero 6. Attendees had the chance to watch film footage, eat sushi, learn martial arts and watch a stunning marker pen mural take shape.
Set in the future city of San Fransokyo, Big Hero 6 is the story of a group of inexperienced superheroes – and their robot Baymax – teaming up to solve a criminal conspiracy. Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, this action packed comedy combines adventure and emotion to turn the strongest of men into warm fuzz balls.
Arriving early on the day, our graffiti artists were keen to begin. The artists wanted to emphasise the key characters of the animation, so teamed the large cartoon figures with a relatively simple Japanese city scape, depicting the classic hidden roofs. This fitted in brilliantly with the theme of the event and film.
Our live art skills attracted passing press, and they regularly came back during the day to see the progression of the mural and even join in at times! The screen writers then finished off the artwork by autographing the piece, before donating it MediCinema.
MediCinema is a fabulous charity, which aims to create a true cinema experience to enrich the lives of patients, many of whom are critically ill or disabled and spend periods of time in hospital or undergoing treatment. Here at Graffiti Life we are extremely proud that our artwork has gone to such a worthy cause.
Live art is a great way to captivate audiences and draw attention to particularly features that you wish to promote during an event. Our bespoke artwork can be tailored to suit any event or occasion, with our pro graffiti artists capable of producing high quality artwork in any time frame.
