We were honoured when the Alexander McQueen visual merchandising team asked us to be a part of the latest window display in their Bond Street flagship store in central London.
The bar has been set pretty high with our recent graffiti exploits and during a design meeting with team McQueen we realised that this was going to be a challenging piece. The idea was to use a tiger as the centrepiece, tying in with the use of tiger print on several garments in the latest McQueen collection but also to subtly incorporate the iconic tartan that has been a mainstay with the designer for years.
After a few initial mock ups we decided on the final design and two of our graffiti artists got to work creating the wild centrepiece. Our artists first painted the floor with a tiger print fabric design, using subtle tones before moving on the bright lifelike tiger, with glowing eyes! Once the painting was finished mannequins were added and the window display was complete. We think the result is fantastic, the backdrop really grabs attention and draws the eyes of passing consumers straight to the new collection.
Visual merchandising projects are amongst our favourite to be involved in. Every store front and product throws forward a new set of ideas for us to get super creative with. If you have a project in mind get in touch with our graffiti artists today.
