Interior Mural for 10th Wedding Anniversary

For the 10th anniversary of their wedding day, this couple threw a house party at their home in North London and asked our Graffiti Artists to create a buzz by painting Live in front of their guests on the night.

Our artists and designers were keen to spend some time chatting with the couple about the artwork brief and ideas they had for the mural. The couple wanted a mural that would float across their living room wall in a surrealist dream-like manner, incorporating the use of primary colours to depict objects which held sentimental value. After presenting a range of design ideas it was clear the couple knew which route they wanted to go down, as they were quick to pick out the design they love most.

During the house party our graffiti artists used black markerpens to draw directly onto the white textured background of the brick wall, creating a simple yet beautiful image in an illustrative style . Flourishes of bright spray-paint were used to place emphasis on the objects which held sentimental value to the couple… Lego, chess, Roy Lichtenstein, Venice, waves, Scrabble and coffee cups were amongst some of the objects included within the mural. The guests were blown away by the creativity and skill of the artists; we even got a nod of approval from the couple’s two young children who were on hand to provide expert advice.

Our Graffiti Artists were thrilled to help a lovely couple celebrate a mile-stone in their marriage by creating a beautiful, long-lasting celebratory mural to feature permanently in their living room.
