Exhibition | The Affordable Art Grotto

It’s been an exciting year at The Graffiti Life Gallery and with exhibitions changing every month, we’ve inevitably seen some pretty incredible work pass through our doors. To mark the end of a remarkable year, The Graffiti Life Gallery has taken measures to treat all our fans to something really special this December, by launching ‘The Affordable Art Grotto’.

This exhibition is a great and rare opportunity for fans, collectors and everyone in-between to buy some fantastic art from some of the most exciting and pro-active artists working within the urban contemporary art scene. Unlike our usual shows, works are available to take-away as and when they are sold… they’d make the perfect Christmas gift for your friends and loved ones (or just yourself!)

Works cover a broad range of mediums; some of which include Giclee Prints, Mixed Media on Wood, Clay Sculpture, Hand-painted Gift Boxes, Risograph Prints, Spraypaint on Canvas, Ink on Paper, Graphite Drawings and Stickers.
Exhibiting artists include the likes of Adam Brazier, Benjamin Badbones, Coney, Curtis Hylton, Creeps, Darren John, Dues, DSCREET , Krooks, Rosie Woods, and Vents 137.

The Graffiti Life Gallery opened its doors till late for the Private Viewing of ‘The Affordable Art Grotto’ which was held on the First Thursday of December. Despite the chilly weather, it was one of the gallery’s busiest nights, as hundreds of guests made a special effort to see the exhibition before it officially opened to the public on the 5th of December. We were chuffed to hear ‘The Affordable Art Grotto’ had been listed as The Whitechapel gallery’s ‘Top 5 to Visit This First Thursday’ too; as we saw a tour of 25 people make their way from The Whitechapel gallery specially to exhibition on the night of the Private View. All guest were welcomed by a selection of festively fiery ginger-beer and whisky cocktails, courtesy of our sponsor Auchentoshan Whisky.

The Affordable Art Grotto is a free exhibition and is available to view until the 5th January 2015. Gallery open hours are Monday – Friday 12pm – 4pm* and Weekends, 11am – 4pm*

**Please note the gallery will be closed over the festive period 24th – 26th December and on the 1st January. Open by limited appointment only 29th December – 2nd January.
